Bringing the brilliant sea indoors
This large mural was created for someone who wanted to bring the feel of the sea into her waterfront home with a dramatic display. The hand-formed tiles break up the light, because the heat of the kiln gives them a slight three-dimensional quality. (The slate floor was not part of the installation.)
